We give back not only to those in need within our community, but also the future generations of this wonderful community. What started out as a great idea has grown exponentially and became an amazing reality. Here at the RCS Giving Garden, school groups, master gardeners, corporate volunteers, and our own employees work together for the common good of teaching children the art of gardening and the importance of healthy eating. From HWY 5- going west from Stillwater take right onto Laverne (near Fury dealership) garden is on the right at corner of Laverne and 39th street.

RCS Giving Garden 2017

2,590 pounds of produce donated to Valley Outreach

a few hundred more pounds taken home by garden volunteers!

The 2017 garden sure was a good one! We harvested weekly through the third week of October. The next week, the RCS staff finished cleaning up the garden, and the week after that IT SNOWED! Winter weather sure came quickly! Of course, garden work never really dies or goes away. Sixty middle-schoolers from the Stillwater area gave us their time on November 3rd for a Community Education Day of Service and helped us make 288 feet of homemade seed tape for the 2018 garden! And so it begins!
